How to Use It

4. Store it in a password manager rather than reusing it or writing it down insecurely.

When to Use It

• Creating a new account — generate a unique, strong password instead of reusing one from another account.
• Rotating old passwords — periodically replace weak or reused passwords, especially after a service you use reports a breach.
• Setting up shared or service accounts — generate a strong password when default or predictable passwords aren't acceptable.

What It Doesn't Do

This tool generates passwords — it doesn't store them for you long-term. Use a dedicated password manager to save and organize generated passwords securely across all your accounts, rather than relying on memory or unsecured notes.
