Password Generator
The Password Generator creates strong, secure, random passwords with custom rules, generated directly in your browser.
How to Use It
- Set your desired password length and select which character types to include (uppercase, lowercase, numbers, symbols) — at least one type is required.
- Generate a new password.
- Copy it directly to your clipboard.
- Store it in a password manager rather than reusing it or writing it down insecurely.
When to Use It
- Creating a new account — generate a unique, strong password instead of reusing one from another account.
- Rotating old passwords — periodically replace weak or reused passwords, especially after a service you use reports a breach.
- Setting up shared or service accounts — generate a strong password when default or predictable passwords aren't acceptable.
What It Doesn't Do
This tool generates passwords — it doesn't store them for you long-term. Use a dedicated password manager to save and organize generated passwords securely across all your accounts, rather than relying on memory or unsecured notes.
