    Click-Through Rate (CTR)

The percentage of people who click on your link after seeing it in search results. Higher CTR means more people found your title and description appealing enough to visit your site.

Click-through rate measures how often people click on your link compared to how many times it was shown. For example, if your page appears in search results 100 times and receives 5 clicks, your CTR is 5%. This metric helps you understand how effective your titles and descriptions are at attracting clicks, even when your page ranks well. CTR is influenced by several factors: your position in search results (higher positions typically get more clicks), how compelling your title and meta description are, the presence of rich results like star ratings or images, and how well your content matches what the searcher wants. A low CTR might indicate that while you're ranking for certain terms, your listing isn't enticing enough to earn clicks. To improve CTR, create engaging titles that include your target keyword and clearly communicate the benefit to readers. Write meta descriptions that act as "ads" for your content, giving people a reason to click. Test different approaches to see what works best, and consider adding structured data to earn rich results. Remember that improving CTR not only brings more traffic but may also positively affect rankings, as search engines consider high CTR a sign of relevance.
