    Follow Link

A link that passes authority and ranking power from one webpage to another. These links vote for the credibility of the linked page and help search engines determine its importance.

A follow link (sometimes called a dofollow link) is a standard hyperlink that passes SEO value from one page to another. When Website A includes a follow link to Website B, it's essentially telling search engines: "I vouch for this other site; it's worthy of attention." This transfer of "link juice" or authority helps search engines determine which pages deserve to rank higher in search results. Follow links are the default type of link on the web—you don't need to add any special code to create one. They become especially valuable when they come from websites that themselves have high authority. This is why a single link from a trusted news site or industry leader can be worth more than dozens of links from obscure or low-quality websites. The concept of follow links exists in contrast to nofollow links, which include an attribute telling search engines not to pass authority. While both types help users navigate the web, only follow links directly contribute to search rankings. For this reason, earning quality follow links from relevant websites remains one of the most effective SEO strategies. The best way to attract these links is by creating exceptional content that others naturally want to reference.
