How to get your product approved on directories

Rejections are usually avoidable. Most come from incomplete listings, broken links, or submitting to the wrong place. Here's how to clear review the first time.

Complete every required field

Half-filled submissions get rejected or ignored. Add a real description, a logo, screenshots where requested, and accurate links. A complete listing signals you're legitimate.

Make sure your links work

Reviewers click your URL. A broken link, a page behind a login, or a site that's down is an instant rejection. Double-check before submitting.

Submit to the right category

Mis-categorised listings get bounced. Take the extra few seconds to pick the category that actually fits your product.

Use a reachable email

Many directories send a confirmation or verification email. Use an inbox you'll actually check (a dedicated alias is fine) so you can complete verification and not miss the approval.

Expect manual review queues

Some directories review by hand and can take days or weeks. That's normal — track which ones are pending and follow up rather than re-submitting, which can flag you as a duplicate.

Rather skip the manual work?

We submit your product to 100+ directories by hand — picking the right ones, writing each description, and handling approvals. One-time fee from $99.
