Guest Post Pricing
Guest posting means writing (or paying someone to write) an article for another site in exchange for a backlink. We don't sell guest posts — here's realistic pricing and a cheaper starting point.
What this actually is
Guest post pricing depends heavily on the host site's Domain Rating and niche. Budget placements on lower-DR sites can run $50–$150; mid-tier sites (DR 40–60) typically charge $150–$400; and well-known publications can charge $500–$1,500+ per placement, sometimes explicitly for a "sponsored" or "contributor" post that includes a link. On top of the placement fee, you're often expected to supply a well-written, original article, which adds real time or freelance-writing cost. It's a legitimate, effective tactic when done for genuine audience reach, but it's expensive to do at any real volume compared to directory submission.
What we'd do instead
| guest post pricing | BacklinkBot directory submission | |
|---|---|---|
| Cost per placement | $50–$1,500+ depending on site authority | $0.99–$1.19 effective cost per directory link |
| Content required | A full, original article per placement | One intake form covers all your submissions |
| Time to first link | Days to weeks of outreach and writing per site | Submissions start within 48 hours |
| Volume achievable | Usually a handful of placements per month at reasonable quality | 100+ directories in one package |
We don't sell this — here's what we do instead
100+ real directory submissions, done by hand, with a proof report. One-time from $99.

Factors Influencing Link-Building Costs
Link-building prices vary based on backlink quality, acquisition methods, industry competitiveness, and volume. High-quality links from authoritative sites cost more ($200-$2,000+) but deliver better results than cheaper options that risk Google penalties.
